Cocorodama Project

 

The Cocorodama Project is a group of professional artists who came together under the philosophy of sharing the joys of life through the artistic expressions earned from years of experiences. Our members are various kinds of artists such as a composer, a director, a conductor, a choreographer, a yoga instructor, a Japanese traditional drum player, a martial artist as well as musical actors who have been cast in musicals such as “Phantom of the Opera’” and “The Lion King.”
We are hoping to reach out to more children in hospital with incurable diseases and bring our musical performances to them. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in English if you are interested. We are happy to visit you outside Japan if we can sort out the financial matter together.

Where it all started…
I grew up as a son of Christian minister, and after I turned forty I started wondering how I could use my artistic expertise to contribute to the society with caring heart like my parents did.

 

 

 

Profile
Grew up in Taiwan from the age of 5 to 15. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, worked as a businessman for CITIZEN Holdings Co., Ltd. by using his Chinese language skills. In 2000, decided that “I would like to be standing on the stage rather than watching the stage,” quit the job and passed the audition for Shiki Theater Company. Since then, he had been cast in many musicals as unique and indispensable actor for 13 years.
